A pair of dark brown tortoiseshell sunglasses by famed Italian eyewear maker; Persol. This model, the P37, are a very classic oversize "wayfarer" style frame, but with the distinctive, more Italian straighter top. The colour of the frame is a stunning very dark tortoise. The left arm features an unusual gold plated Persol logo with the Italian flag. The frames have the original dark brown mineral glass lenses fitted with the round Persol logo engraved into them and are scratch free.

The glasses are presented in 'New Old Stock' condition. They are fully signed "Ratti" on the arm, meaning that these were made before the acquisition of Persol by Luxotica. These iconic frames have been worn by some of the most stylish people in the world. This is an original pair, and not a re-issue and comes with the original hang tag and lens sticker. Made in Italy, circa  1980's.
