Beautiful tortoiseshell retro clock .
A vintage slave clock reclaimed from a decommissioned cargo ship in its original tortoise shell style.
These clocks are now extremely rare and are getting harder to source so we are delighted to have procured a batch of these beautiful pieces.
The Marine Radio Co Ltd is based in Korea. Marine slave clocks were originally electrically connected to a main mother unit on board ship, to keep accurate time, unaffected by violent movements of the sea.
We have converted these to run on a single AA battery powered silent quartz mechanisms.
