The new Cort L200ATV was designed and developed with the fingerstyle player in mind with its wider nut width while offering a balanced sound with its concert-size body shape. This classic OM body style initially developed in the 1920s and captures the pre-war era tone, with surprisingly high volume for its size.
The main source of tone is the torrefaction process (Cort call it Aged-to-Vintage) used on the Sitka Spruce top. The wood is artificially aged to give it the tonal properties of a vintage instrument. The top is paired with Pau Ferro back and sides and give a semi-gloss finish which offers the best qualities of both gloss and satin finishes, with an Ebony fretboard and bridge, and a genuine bone nut.
