A solid eighteen carat gold Cartier 'Calatrava' style mens dress watch on a Cartier solid eighteen carat gold mesh band.  This is an exceptional quality, superb condition watch that is extremely rare watch.  Very much in the vain of the Patek Philippe icon, the Calatrava, this Cartier is a classic, elegant watch design that screams quality.  It is a superb, unpolished thick case with an amazing untouched patina to the gold.  Very clear hallmarks to the side and under the lug.  The heavy screw case back has the full Cartier stamped reference numbers, and also a personalised engraving to it.  Once removed the underside has full Swiss marks for eighteen carat gold, plus the LC tree mark for LeCoultre as the case maker.  This makes this watch a fully made Jaeger LeCoultre made for and retailed by Cartier.  The watch is powered by a pristine, Geneva striped, Jaeger LeCoultre manual wind P450 / 4CBR movement.  This movement is the Rolls Royce of Jaeger LeCoultre movements, and is hard pressed to be equalled by any other watch maker.  The Cartier capital letter signed dial is original, and shows a slight overall spotting to the creamy background.  The eighteen carat gold faceted markers are bright and pop off the dial, and the original dauphine hands and second hand are clean and bright.  The solid eighteen carat gold mesh bracelet is fully marked Cartier, and is removable if an alligator band is preferred.  The watch comes with a Foundwell one year warranty.
